You will create a full game production pitch, bundled together into a single PDF file or two (GDD, TDD, Concept Art in one and the slides in another).

Pitch Presentation Slides

Your goal? Convince us this game is worth making. We’ll be judging on creativity, professionalism, clarity, and readiness.

What to Do (4 Steps)

Technical Design Document (TDD)

What tools/engines will be used (Unity? Unreal? Cardboard and dreams?)
What systems need to exist (AI, inventory, dialogue, etc.)
What technical challenges you might face (and how you'll deal with them)

Your game’s tone, setting, or characters
Key gameplay screens or environments

Pitch Presentation

Hook your audience with a catchy intro
Explain what makes your game unique
Show off the visuals
Identify the audience and what makes it marketable

Idea is highly original, surprising, and inventive. Introduces a fresh concept or mechanic not commonly seen in games.

Conformity to Theme

Game idea deeply integrates the “No Brakes” theme in a meaningful, core gameplay or narrative mechanic.

40 pts

Clarity of Inspiration & Reasoning

Author clearly articulates their inspirations and explains the reasoning behind design choices; connections are insightful and well-supported.

50 pts
